Under contract to general contractor Burns & McDonnell, Done Group built a 1800 square foot Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) for a fast food brand in Greensboro, NC. Constructed in our Knoxville, TN, factory, Lochsa Engineering divided the QSR into 4 smaller modules to allow for the most efficient method of construction. Each section was built to current IBC fire codes and included full floor and wall finishes, MEP connections, plumbing fixtures, HVAC ducting, windows and doors. While the QSR shell and interior were completed in the factory, the general manager completed ground work and the building foundation. The modules were then shipped to the site in Greensboro sequentially, where they were hoisted into place by a crane. Our ground crew connected the mechanical, electrical and plumbing, completing our scope on site.
